Mr. and Mrs. Charles JenKins were Christmas weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. W.G. Whitlock at Easton, Md. Mrs. Bertha Armel spent several days of the Christmas holiday with Mr. and Mrs. George E. Terry and family in Hampton. The Terry family spent Sunday following Christmas here with Mrs. Armel who returned home with them for a two day visit.
Christmas dinner guests of Mrs. Guy Burke at her home on Gay Street were Mr. and Mrs. Trenton Burke, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Burke and son Richy of Culpeper, David Burke of Alexandria and Clyde Jenkins. Visitors during the day included Mr. and Mrs. Abe Burke and Mr. Burke’s fathei Winston Burke of Staunton, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Atkins and daughter Tracy of Leesburg and Miss Donna Bailey of Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. Judd Burke of Flint Hill were visitors on Sunday.
Mrs. T. C. Lea returned home Tuesday after spending the Christmas and New Year holidays with Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Lea and family in Culpeper, Mr. and Mrs. John Cargill and family in Bedford and Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Williams at Amherst.
Luncheon guests on Saturday after Christmas of Mrs. W. H. Massie, Jr. at the Holiday Inn in Culpeper were Mrs. B. M. Miller, Miss Lizzie Eastham and Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett.
Tuesday and WEdnesday visitors of Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett following Christmas were her daughter-in-law and granddaughter Mrs. Brooke Moffett and Miss Robin Moffett of Norfolk. Mrs. W. M. Fletcher was a luncheon guest the day before New Year’s.
