Amissville Methodist Church women will serve a public supper at the church social hall on Saturday, May 1,1971 beginning at 5 p.m. It will feature old Virginia ham and fried chicken. The public is extended a cordial invitation.

Applications in connection with the labor survey for an apparel manufacturing company are coming in rapidly, and those who , have not filled in and returned a ' form should do so. The greater the response to the survey, the greater the probability of a plant locating in this area. If you are interested and have not done so, pick up a form at a county business establishment, fill out and return to that business or mail it to Box 38-C, Washington, Va. 22747. There is a form published in this newspaper today which may be used by applicants and mailed to that address.
