Sunday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Frazier and Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Clark and daughter Sarah were Mr. and Mrs. Leo Howell, Mr. and Mrs. Howell jr. and son Freddy of Richmond and Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Eastham and children Edie and Richie. Barbara Clatterbuck and Stevie Dodson of Flint Hill were visitors Monday evening of Sarah Clark. Mrs. George L. Wallihan of Front Royal, Mrs. W. G. Eastham and daughter Marian of Amissville were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. W. H. Massie, Jr. at Hampton Inn. Mrs. Jesse Ward returned to her home Echo Hill Farm on Friday after an extensive absence. She left March 29th, accompanied by her sisters, Mrs. I. T. Masloff of Danville and Mrs. C. O. Raymond of Warrenton, and motored to Miami, Fla. On April 3 they left for a Caribbean cruise on the Norwegian S. S. Skyward and visited Haiti, St. Thomas,San Juan and Nassau.

Mr. and Mrs. John Evans of Luray were Sunday luncheon Quests of Mr. Evans’ sister Mrs. Guy Burke. * Mrs. Edwin Pearson and daughter Mary Diane of Vienna were Sunday visitors of Miss Lucy Estes and Mrs. Mamie Wrenn. , Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr. attended the marriage Saturday of Mr. Davis’ niece Miss Ann Lanier Davis and Glenmore Spitler at Christ Church, Alexandria.

Mr. and Mrs. John M. Stuart and three children Kevin, Elizabeth and Virginia of Wheaton, Md. spent Saturday night and Sunday with Mr. Stuart’s father William M. Stuart. Mr. Stuart of Beltsville, Md. spent several days at his home on Blue Ridge Avenue.
