A singing - speaking rally has been organized for the young people of Madison, Rappahannock and Culpeper counties and is scheduled for Saturday, April 24 at the New Salem Baptist Church (beginning at 7:30p.m. This church is located on Route 522.
Ken Mason Horndy of the Richmond Youth Challengers will talk on first hand experience with drugs. A second speaker will offer his testimony as a representative of the Fellowship of Christian athletes from Madison High School. Group singing and the selection of a theme song will preface a program of instrumental and vocal selections. The rally is under the patronage of the Youth Committee of the Shiloh Baptist Association. Refreshments will be served by women and assistants of New Salem Church. Lee and Kay Lawrence, members of Amissville Baptist Church will appear on the program in an organ-piano duet.

U. S. Air Force Sergeant Ronal S. Dodson, son of Mr. and Mr Eugene M. Dodson of Amissvilli has arrived for duty at Langle AFB, Va. Sergeant Dodson, an inventot management specialist, assigned to a unit of the Tactic Air Command. He previous' served at Osan AB, Republic Korea, He is a 1968 graduate of Ra pahannock County High School Washington.
