collision Sunday, May 2 on Route 729 south of Ben Venue. According to a report filed by Sgt. B. Beasley, George Franklin Parker of Amissville, operating a 1966 GMC wrecker owned by Charles E. Sutphin of Washington and Delancey Louise Gray of Landover, Md. in a 71 Cadillac owned by William E. Gray, were involved.
No charges were made and damage was estimated at $12.00 to the Cadillac. Lottie V., Brent of Washington, D. C., 66, sustained contusions and abrasions of her left knee.
Forest Ban Lifted
The ban imposed on the use of forests due to danger of fire resulting from extremely dry weather conditions has been lifted. Woodlands and streams are open to hunting and fishing, said local game warden Irvin L. Kenyon jr. He added, that there would be no extension to the turkey hunting season which officially closes Saturday, May 8. Slight relief brought by small showers prompted the governor to rescind the closing order.
