for Naturalness
As' a property owner in Rappahannock County - on the line oi the proposed transmission line - 1 wish to make an open appeal to all citizens of the County to join the efforts of the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection in their sincere attempt to prevent construction of the wooden poles and steel-frame towers. This appeal is made, not because the need for transporting power is questioned, but I question why, in this day of advanced technology, should we permit an antiquated method of using unsightly wooden-steel towers to trespass across our beautiful County destroying the natural environment. Conservation or environmentalism, whichever you wish to call it, had its beginning in the dim past.
