Gen. NOCtTSpeaks— The talk given by Lt. Gen. Daniel Noce on May 3, as part of the Library Information & Entertainment Program, was well attended and well received. The General gave a brief history of some of the most famous libraries in the world and illustrated with anecdotes how his interest in many subjects had begun with books and was constantly stimulated by reading. The audience asked a variety of questions afterwards, drawing upon General Noce’s intimate association with the country’s national and international affairs. A more than average number of men and young people were drawn by his reputation. Members of the Library Board and the general public thank General Noce sincerely for his talk.
