Trooper W. A. Buntin reported investigating two traffic crashes in Rappahannock since last edition. A two-vehicle collision occurred in Amissville and a single car crash took place near v Sperryville.
On Friday, July 23 at 8 p.m. in Amissville at the intersection of Routes 211 and 643 a 1970 Chevrolet operated by David Murray Buchanan of Warrenton was struck by a 71 Ford PWn driven by Kenneth Patrick McKeith of Alexandria. Buchanan
failed to stop for the sf^fcas he attempted to enter Route 211 from the secondary road and was struck by the Pinto.
Buchanan was charged with failing to yield the right of way and damage was estimated at $600
