spent Sunday at Cacapon State Park, West Virginia. Chan Peterson of LaJolla, California was a visitor last weekend of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Bentley. M. H. Brady has returned home from Winchester Memorial Hospital. This week Mr. and Mrs. Richard Ridenour and children Faith Ann and Ricky of Cedar Rapids, Iowa are visiting the Bradys. Mrs. Mary P. Hawkins and Miss Elsie Dodson were Saturday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Smith at Graves Mountain Lodge in Syria. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Pullen held a cookout at their home. Those attending were Linwood Pullen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Welch and family, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Alther and family, Lucille Settle and Lewis Corbin. Wanda Davis has left for a visit with her father in Cherokee, North Carolina. Daryl Corbin of Hartwood, Virginia spent the week with Mr. and Mrs. Gavor Foster and son On Sunday the Fosters went to Cacapon State Park in West Virginia for a picnic. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Fred Pearson, Mrs. Giles Licklider and son Giles and Mr. and Mrs. Walter E. Krause, Jr., all of Front Royal were guests for a cookout of Mrs. Mary Krause. Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Wood and Mrs. H. R. Dunn spent from Monday to Friday last week with Dr. and Mrs. Edgar D. Charles in Birmingham, Alabama.
Rachel and Eva Grimsley returned home from St. George’s Camp, Shrine Mont at Orkney Springs Friday. Rachel en tertained a group of friends at her home on her birthday, July eighteenth.
