Garland Seal

Garland “Shorty” Earl Seal, 43, of Chester Gap died Thursday, July 22, 1971 in the Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal. A funeral service was held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home, Front Royal, with the Rev. Roy Mathena officiating. Burial was in Chester Gap.

Mr. Seal was born in Rappahannock County February 20, 1928, a son of Mrs. Zennia Fr&zier Seal of Flint Hill and the late Floyd Seal. Surviving with his mother is his widow, Mrs. Helen Irene Seal; two daughters, Deborah and Juanita Seal, both at home; three step-sons, Charles Mahoney, Fort Campbell, Ky., and Glenn and Randolph Mahoney, both at home; two step-daughters, Patricia and Teresa Mahoney, both at home. Also surviving are two brothers.
