EON NATIONAL HEALTH ORGANIZATION Liny, Virginia Almost two million pennies, nickles, dimes, quarters and half dollars that have been thrown into the Luray Caverns’ Wishing Well during the past five years will be given this year to Muscular Dystrophy Associations of America and other health organizations. The coins, which weighed more than 13,000 pounds, added up to $43,648.14. This load represents just a fraction of the money that was removed from the Well.
