Bentley

George^f? Bentley of Washington. D. C. and Ash Tree Farm. Washington. Va. died Monday. April 16, 1973 at Sligo Gardens Nursing Home where he had been since January 17. He was 85, a native of Texas, and land owner and part time resident of Rappahannock County for the past 20 years.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Virginia F. Bentley; a son, George E. Bentley; three step-children, Mrs. Robert Reiser, Mrs. Jean Whetzel and Harold E. Vaden; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A Masonic Service was held Wednesday evening and a funeral service was conducted at 12:30 today from the Takoma Park Baptist Church. Interment was in Pari Lawn Cem^ etery in Maryland.

Mr. Bentley was a member of the Sojourners Lodge of Crystal Ball, Canal Zone for 55 years. C
