Paul A. Nichols of Flint Hill has received a Silver Beaver award for his service in scouting. Presentation was made April 16 at the annual Scouter Recognition Dinner of the Shenandoah Area Council, Boy Scouts of America at Stephens City. The Silver Beaver award is the highest recognition by the local Council to Scouters. Mr. Nichols has served as a Scoutmaster, Institutional Representative and Commissioner. He has earned his Scouter’s Key and has been the recipient of the Statuette, award. He is the director of the State Agricultural Laboratory in Warrenton, and is pictured with Mrs. Nichols.
