James Edward Jones, 53, of Browntown died April 5, 1973 in Lynn Care Center of Warren Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 7 at 2 p.m. in the. Maddox Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Carl Yoder. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
He was born in Rappahannock County, a son of Mrs. Bertha Clatterbuck Jones, and the late Bootie Jones.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Martha Virginia Jones of Browntown; a son, Lewis Edward Jones of Front Royal; four daughters, Dorothy Bennett, Alice Bennett and Lisa Jones of Browntown and Martha Hamman of Stephens City; and four grandchildren. □
