Traffic crashes occurring in recent days have been minor with little or no injury. Property damage has not been extensive.
At 5 a.m. November 8, three miles west of Sperryville on Route 211 Willie Frank Pouncey of Luray crashed into a tree. Pouncey was operating a 67 Ford station wagon and the lights went out, according to Trooper W.A. Bun tin. He lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree.
