are 54 senior bulls: 21 polled Herefords, 30 Angus, and 3 Charolais. The bulls, will come off test January 15 and will be sold at the center Saturday, February 2.
There are 66 junior bulls at Red House: 23 polled Herefords, 35 Angus, 6 Charolais, and 2 Simmentals. The Red House juniors will come off test on February 12 and will sell Saturday, March 2, which is the day following the Culpeper sale.
All bulls on test were consigned by Virginia Beef Cattle Improvement Association members. To be eligible, bulls had to come from completely performance tested herds and had to have an adjusted 205-day ratio of 100 or higher and had to have at least 2.2 pounds weight-per-day-ofage when delivered to the stations.
