The hearing will be held in the fourth floor conference room of the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Commerce, 203 Governor Street, Richmond.

The proposed regulations, if passed by tlje Board, would give the State Veterinarian increased authority over animal health and sanitation in Virginia livestock markets. Additionally, the regulations deal with proper identification of livestock, and the restriction on movement of cattle, hogs, sheep, and goats for slaughter.
