A RECORD number of 270 top bulls are currently on test at the two Virginia Beef Cattle Improvement Association central bull testing stations.
At the 16-year-old Culpeper station there are 150 bulls and at the two-yearold Red House Bull Evaluation Center there are 120. An additional group of spring bulls will come into the Red House test in November, bringing the total to over 300.
At Culpeper there are 87 bulls on the senior test of which there are 32 polled Herefords, 51 Angus, 1 red Angus, 2 Charolais, and 1 Simmental. The bulls have completed 56 days of the 140-day test which will ter
