Miss Arlene Thomas of Alexandria was weekend house guest of Mr. and Mrs. James Fox.
The Chester Gap Homemakers Club will meet Monday, April 8 at 7 o’ clock in the home of Mrs. Lillian Fox.
Sunday Mr. and Mrs. W. A. “Butch” Sealock were hosts at a birthday dinner at Lauder’s honoring the former’s mother,- Mrs. Alfred Sealock. Others present were Alfred Sealock, Miss Sharon Henry and Wayne Sealock.
Mrs. Hazel Williams visited her sister, Mrs. Daisy Jones in Flint Hill Sunday.
Carl Longmire, Sr. came home from the Winchester Hospital Friday, but had to be taken back to the same hospital Saturday. Joe Williams is home and unable to report for work on account of illness.
The Sue Slaughter group of the WMU of the Shilo Baptist Association will meet Thursday evening at 7:30 in the Chester Gap Baptist Church.
Mrs. Walter H. Williams Jr. had as guest Thursday her sister, Mrs. Isabel Butler of Front Royal.
