Junior fox
hunters meet
The field trials and bench show of the junior members of the Northern Virginia Fox Hunters Association was held Friday and Saturday at the Oliver Durnat farm near Boston. The 64 junior members entered a total of 146 hounds.
A cook-out for participants followed the show, judging and awards presentation. Mr. and Mrs. Durant donated a trophy for the best handler and sportsmanship, which went to Yvonne Norman of Woodville.
Junior officers were elected for this year and included Misty Hitt, president; Yvonne Norman, vice president and Nancy Taylor as secretary.□
