Mrs. Futrell and Miss Betty Lee. The school choir performed and we had a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny. Mr. Harrison was speaker for the assembly.
A youth center meeting is scheduled for Monday night at the local elementary school at 7:30 p.m. New by-laws should be adopted at this time.
Molly Dennis, a junior at RCHS, was selected to participate in the Governor’s School for the Gifted. She was one of 150 rising junior and senior high school students who will attend the school in June 19 and July 19 at Mary Washington.
Don’t forget the dance Saturday night at Sperryville fire hall from 8 p.m. til midnight. Admission is $1.25 stag or $2 drag. This is a great chance to get together with friends during the Easter holiday. Congratulations to Martin Perdue who was accepted at the College of William and Mary. Have a Happy Easter.□
