Mrs. Witten
A graveside funeral service for Mrs. Mattie Harriette Witten, 90, of Culpeper was held Tuesday, at Fairview Cemetery conducted by the Rev. William Ferguson.
Mrs. Witten died April 8,1974 at her residence. She was the widow of J. W. M. Witten.
She is survived by two sons, J. W.M. Witten, Jr. of Brandy Station and Henry C. Witten of Richmond; seven daughters, Mrs. Rufus K. Sanders of Saltville, Mrs. Frederick Sanger of Washington, Va., Mrs. Joe S. Joplin of Rocky Mount, Mrs. Schuyler M. Harris of Charlottesville, Mrs. Edwin G. O’Neill of Arlington; Mrs. Julius E. Roll of West Islip, N. Y. , and Miss Beverly Witten of Baltimore, Md.; 12 grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren. □
