JUDGING from the turnout at last Thursday’s Highway Department district hearing in Culpeper, people in Fauquier, Lou' cloun and Rappahannock counties (and officials) don’t much care what is in store for them in the department’s 10-year primary road-building program.
A number of citizens and officials were on hand to speak about problems in Fairfax, Prince William, Madison, Orange and Culpeper, and the towns of Fairfax City, Manassas Park, Manassas, Haymarket, and Culpeper, but the representations for Fauquier, Loudoun and Rappahannock were scant. (Apparently, Albemarle representation was even scantier.)
