She explained that textbook series are geared to elementary, junior high and high school classes and the explored the possibility of instituting rooms for these students at either school and continuing to use core facilities, cafeteria, library, gym, of the buildings already established. This way, four rooms at the elementary school could be transformed for kindergarten purposes. She asked that the Board not be short-sighted in planning for these changes, and to investigate all angles.
Frank McGee
dies in N. Y.
Frank McGee, renowned commentator and host of the televised “Today Show” from New York, died Wednesday, April 17, in a New York hospital. He was 52.
Mr. McGee was a parttime resident of Rappahannock County, spending as much time away from his TV obligations as possible at his farm, Jessamine Hill near Washington, Va. with his wife Sue.
His daughter, Sharon, Mrs. Peter Labovitz, who resides at the farm, is co-owner of the Washington Country Store with Mrs. Louise Sagalyn.D
