Earth Week 1974 is Scouting Keep America Beautiful Day, Saturday, April 27. In addition to litter prevention and clean-up projects, Scouts will emphasize collection of materials for recycling, tree planting, urban wildlife habitat improvement, and other environmental improvement activities.
Dedicated to all phases of advancing the science and art of environmental education, the Alliance’s primary objective is to improve the extent and effectiveness of environmental education programs.□
