THE U. S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced that there will be no payments made to growers on their 1973 sales of wool and mohair.
The USDA explained that payments are unnecessary because the prices reviewed by growers in the marketplace for wool and mohair last year were higher than the support level established for these commodities for 1973 under the National Wool Act of 1954, as amended.
