district meet
The annual spring meeting of the Homemakers Clubs of District 8 is scheduled for Saturday, April 27, with Madison County as host. The meeting convenes at 10 a.m. and is concluded with a complimentary luncheon about 1 p.m. Rappahannock members and interested persons are urged to attend.
Mrs. Joe Anderson of Northern Virginia will be the featured speaker and her topic will be “Renewing Love.” State club officers, Mrs. Hazel Cummings, president and vice president, Mrs. Jean Beard, will attend the meeting. □
