Here are a few comments on a letter by Mr. George Graham in your issue of August 15, 1974, page 2.
The first half of this article deals with the political climate, which is always possible when they are elected officials. They do the best thay can under many difficulties. But I do think that when the author puts the tax consciousness on the “Sunday supplement” it is a disservice to the community.
Particular objection is taken by me to the use of the word “absurd” being used to refer to Mr. Grigsby’s appearance before the Board x>f Supervisors. I spoke to the chairman of the Board of Supervisors before the meeting about Mr. Grigsby’s desire to say his piece about taxes. Col. Luke agreed. At the meeting I asked the Board if they would hear Mr. Grigs
