Mr. and Mrs. P. F. Moore are back from Cape May, N.J., after several weeks. Their son-in-law Marvin Nielsen, Sr., arrived here from Anchorage, Alaska Wednesday to join Mrs. Nielsen, Philip and Suzy, who have been summer guests of the Moores and Mrs. Moore’s mother, Mrs. M. M. Chastain, in the Cedarloft.
Sunday evening the Marvin Nielsens and her. aunt, Mrs. Shirley Shelton, visited in the Robert Shelton home in Winchester from whence Mrs. Shelton returned to her Arlington hbm. The Nielsens left Tuesday for Lawn, Pa., where they will make their home after ten years’ residence in Alaska.
Mr. and Mrs. Hubert S. Gilkey III had as visitors Sunday afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bowers and Joey, Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Wines and family, Brian Cress and children, Julie and Rodney, all of Front Royal.
Bennie Atkins and son, Ricky, and Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Heflin drove to Roanoke Friday to visit Mr. and Mrs. Roger Williams and to bring back Mrs. Bennie Atkins and her children, Mike and Donna, Sunday.
Saturday, George Cain of 1 Alexandria called on his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Cain and Tuesday, Mr. and Mrs. George Cain and daughter, Juli and friend, Gretchen Heller, visited the senior Cains. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Blythe and Diane hosted a dinner Sunday for these guests: George Tomko, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dice and Harry Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Gary Dice and Lori, Mr. and Mrs. David Dice, Mrs. Patty Bowers and sons, Pat and Page, Miss Deana Kline and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Scheidegger and Tina. □
