Eldon Sisk
Eldon William Sisk of Sperryville died August 24, 1974 at his home. He was 63.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Nethers Pentecostal Church at Nethers Mill conducted by the Rev. Charles Condent. Burial was in Etlan Cemetery.
Mr. Sisk’s wife, formerly Florine Mae Nichols, died five weeks ago. A retired farmer, Mr. Sisk was a native of Madison County and had lived in Rappahannock County for many years.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. James Smoot of Culpeper, Mrs. Otis Sisk of Sperryville and Mrs. George Dodson of Essex, Md.; three sons, Eugene Sisk of Elkwood, Leroy Sisk of Boston, Va. and James Sisk of Etlan; three sisters, Mrs. Will Dodson of Flint Hill, Mrs. Ather Sisk of Alexandria and Mrs. Edith Nicholson of Culpeper; 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers
Pall bearers were Charles O. Dodson, Charles Jenkins, Bobby Taylor, Hugh Deal, Edward Dodson and Jimmie Jenkins.
Clore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Gary Lewis
Gary Adron Lewis of Ranson, W. Va. died Tuesday, August 27, 1974 in the Veterans Hospital in Martinsburg, W. Va. He was 54, and a professional chef.
Mr. Lewis was a Veteran of World War II, a member of the VFW and of the Moose Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Annie Belle Foster Lewis of the home address.
