Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller and Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr. were dinner guests last Wednesday of Mrs. Bruce Bowie in Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. Paul L. Miller Jr. of Odenton, Md. were house guests of Mrs. Bowie last week.

Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Timmons of Alexandria are guests this week of their son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Curtis.

Dr. and Mrs. Robert J. Rodgers were guests of Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr. and Mrs. F. W. Spalding for dinner Sunday night at Quality Inn in honor of Mrs. Rodgers’ birthday.

Douglas Walker is vacationing at the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Walker before leaving to return to Auburn University in Auburn, Ala.

FLINT HILL MEETING

The regular meeting of Flint _Hill Fire Department is scheduled for Wednesday, September 4 at 7:30 in the fire House. All members are urged to attend.

HORSE SHOW

The fourth in the series of Old Mill Stables Horse and. Pony shows will be held on Sunday, September 8 at 10 a.m. In case of rain it will be held on the following Saturday, September 14. Mrs. W. E. Howland of Warrenton will judge. □
