AT A SALE held following her death, New York art dealer David Greer, representing Greer galleries, paid $15,000 for an oil painting by Diego Rivera. He also paid $2,500 for two Mescheler lithographs. A set of American Windsor side chairs brought $400 (from a Rappahannock bidder), a Guerrier painting brought $650, a drawing by Renoir brought $260 and a “Wynn Snrr’’ chair, made in 1710 for Oxford University, brought $700.
