One son, Jerry, predeceased him. Also surviving are four brothers; Woodrow Figgins of Front Royal, Alfred, Raymond and Reginald Figgins, all of Cheverly, Md.; and two sisters, Mrs. Viola Sorrell and Mrs. Pearl Williams, both of Richmond.
Funeral services were held in the chapel of Maddox Funeral Home, Front Royal with the Rev. Alden Yates officiating. Burial followed in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Sutphin
Mrs. Edith R. Sutphin, 77, of Amissville died Sunday, January 12, 1975 in Fauquier Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Silas and Mary Lou Hume of Conde.
She is survived by her husband, Harvey Sutphin, Sr.; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Bailey of Culpeper, and Mrs. Edna Fincham of Warrenton; a son, Harvey Sutphin, Jr., of Warrenton; a sister, Mrs. J.R. Kerrick of Orlean and seven grandchildren. She was a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton, with burial in Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Jeffersonton.^
WOMEN’S SOCIETY
The Flint Hill Methodist Women's Society will meet with Mrs. B.J. Wood Monday, January 20 at 7:JO p.m. The program will be the annual prayer service.^
