I AM the co-sponsor of a bill which provides for additional punishment of one to five years in the penitentiary for the use of a gun or other dangerous weapon in the commission of a felony.
Another major issue for the 1975 General Assembly is the need to bring state expenditures into line with the falling revenues of the state government, which has been due to economic conditions. I will discuss this situation in my next legislative report.
