TRAILER WRECKED
A Marlette house trailer broke loose from the towing vehicle and overturned on Route 211 three miles west of Sperryville Saturday. Howard B. Morrison of Alexandria was pulling the trailer when the mishap occurred about 8 a.m., according to Trooper W.A. Buntin. Damage was estimated at $400. L
CARD OF THANKS
Washington VSl. Fire Dept, and Rescue Squad held one of their annual coin tosses over the Memorial Day weekend, with very good results, considering the weather. We thank all who contributed in money and time. Donations are greatly appreciated at any time and always put to a good use as we are in the process of building a new fire house; plus the every day expense of gas, tires, repairs and whatever for three pieces of equipment to have in shape and ready to serve the good people of the county.
