Planning Commissioner Walter Masterson said, “This is a formal application; why can’t we go ahead and act..?” Planning Commissioner A.Y. Stokes said, “It was advertised.”
Masterson said “the Supervisors will make the decision...” He made a motion to go ahead and make a recommendation to the Supervisors that night. Stokes seconded it.
Mrs. John Crews asked Baumgardner if he could summarize what Lea and his clients were requesting. Eileen Day wanted to know that, too. “Maybe we don’t need him (Lea),” she said.
BUT AUBREY Keyser wasn’t so sure the Planning Commissioners should go ahead. “Maybe this is just what Mr. Lea wants you to do. Then he could take you to court because he wasn’t here.”
