Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Calvert of Falls Church and Miss Virginia Alexander of Alexandria arrived Wednesday for a visit of several days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Fairfax.
Mrs. Matilda Walker of Culpeper was an overnight guest Friday of Mr. and Mrs. Ashby Wayland. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wayland and two sons of Manassas were weekend guests. Saturday supper guests were Mr. and Mrs. Leo Wood of Reva Park.
Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Kuhn are Mr. Kuhn’s mother, Mrs. J. Huber of Belleville, 111 and Mr. and Mrs. William Willis of Fullerton, Cal. Following graduation Saturday at Randolph Macon Academy, the Kuhns entertained 40 guests with a picnic. Their son, Jon Russell, was a member of the graduating class.
Mrs. Reverdy Jones, III and two sons returned to their home in Fairmont, W. Va. Saturday after a two weeks visit with her parents Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr. Mr. Jones was on reserve duty at Camp A P. Hill.
Mrs. B.M. Miller entertained with a family dinner Saturday evening at her home on Mt. Salem Avenue. Present were her house guests Mr. and Mrs. Field Benton and son Hugh of Ft. Smith, Ark., Mr. and Mrs. Link Brooking of Montpelier Station, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Campbell, Mrs. Mark Johnson and Eric Johnson of Luray, Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Estes, Mr. and Mrs. C.K. Estes and children Kim, Ken and Martha Susan, of Sperryville.
