Cary Gordon Thornhill Jr. of Boston will graduate Saturday from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg receiving a bachelor of science degree in animal science. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thornhill and a 1971 graduate of Rappahannock County High School. He was named the outstanding senior by the Tech Block and Bridle Club and has been reserve champion, champion and reserve grand champion swine showman. He is a member of Alpha Zeta, Alpha Gamma Rho and the Council of Agricultural presidents, holding the highest office in the last two. He has been active in judging teams, placing fifth in the Eastern National in Baltimore. He was one of three agriculture students at Tech named to Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities. After graduation he plans to attend law school.

FAMILY REUNION

A reunion of the descendents of James Poly and Texanna Pullen Atkins is scheduled for Sunday, June 15 beginning at 9 a.m. and continuing through the day. It will be held at the Flint Hill fire hall. An effort is being made to contact all members of this family who are urged to attend the family gettogether. Each family should take a picnic lunch. □
