THE 1975 ACP offers two types of agreements to producers—the annual agreement for a one-year conservation program or the longterm agreement (LTA). The LTA offers farmers who have a farm plan prepared by the Soil Conservation Service the opportunity to enter into a three to ten year continuing program of conservation improvements. This type of agreement would be most beneficial to area producers wanting to perform rather extensive conservation improvements on their land, but preferring to spread them out over a period of years.
All practices involving the application of lime and/or fertilizer will be considered for cost-sharing assistance on the basis of soil sample recommendations. Re
