Right now the decision to move toward the lifestyle of the Indians is full of greys, continued Irwin, but it won’t be long, he predicted, until the moment of truth from an environmental standpoint is here.
Irwin added that it would not be “moral” for the county, as Kramer suggested, to stop all growth. “This is not a club house,” he argued.
“WE WON’T survive if some limits are not set,” rebutted Kramer. “The human race is spoiled and must be reprimanded.”
“Do you consign the people to the ghetto?” asked Irwin.
Kramer replied that people must be encouraged with tax incentives and the like to move away from congested areas, but not dispoil them.
