Cubbage
Oakley Thomas Cubbage, 63, of Rixeyville died July 30, 1975 in Culpeper Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Rappahannock, the son of the late Thomas Aldridge and Virgie Lee Whorton Cubbage.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Eva Pearl Jenkins Cubbage; three daughters, Mrs. Marion Woodward and Mrs. George Mozingo, both of Rixeyville, and Mrs. William Settle, Jr. of Culpeper; five sons, James E. Cubbage of Remington, Burgess L. Cubbage of Madison, Thomas F. Cubbage, Donald R. Cubbage and Jackie D. Cubbage, all of Rixeyville; 10 grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Grigsby of Castleton and Mrs. John Lewis of Germany; and four brothers, Owen I. Cubbage of Castleton, Louie F. Cubbage and Edward Cubbage of Culpeper and Giles Cubbage of Fredericksburg.
Funeral services were held Friday at Geest Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Wayne Richards officiating. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery. □
