NOTICE
I am a candidate for the office of Sheriff of Rappahannock County, subject to the election on November 4, 1975
I am making every effort to personally contact each resident in Rappahannock County prior to the election. This, however, is difficult for it is impossible to catch everyone at home in a designated area on a specified day. I will, nevertheless, continue to visit each household.
I believe that over the years I have served the public in this county in a conscientious manner while I was employed with the Virginia Department of State Police. I have endeavored to be honest, truthful, fair, efficient, and open minded.
My experience in the field of law enforcement will enable me to continue serving you in this same manner if you choose to elect me Sheriff of Rappahannock County in November. I will devote full time to this job.
A survey made last year by the Rappahannock Extension Service indicated the citizens of this county felt that better local law enforcement was the thing most needed in Rappahannock.
I ask you to vote for me on November 4, 1975.
