Dr. W. L. Wake complained that the Highway Department is widening a stretch of 622 that is already paved, while ignoring other problems on the unpaved section. “I don’t get this, this sticks in my craw,” he said.
He also wondered about the de- , partment’s list for carrying projects out. “I haven’t seen anything to indicate when projects are contemplated. I’ve seen five-year and ten-year plans, but I haven’t seen anything happen. I was told four years ago we would get some road work, and nothing.has been done.”
