REVIVAL SERVICES
Revival services will begin April 12 at Thornton’s Gap Regular Baptist Church near Sperryyille and will continue through April 17 with meetings each night at 7:30. The speaker will be Brother Hoover Heflin, president of the Gideon International Camp of Front Royal and special music will be provided. The public is invited, said Elder Kirby Shenk, pastor of the church. □
Birthday party
Mrs. Carrie Jenkins of Sperryville was honored with a party Sunday in celebration of her 61st birthday given by her daughter, Mrs. Margaret Bright and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Mildred Jenkins. Attending the celebration were her eight children and 33 grandchildren.
Present were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins of Richmond, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jenkins, Mr. and Mrs. George Jenkins of Culpeper, Mrs. Shirley Hitt, Castleton, Mr. and Mrs. Charles W.
