A GOOD FRIDAY service will be held at Forest Grove Baptist Church April 16 at 7:30 p.m. This is a community service with the Rev. J. S. Stir man, pastor of Amissville United Methodist Church providing special music.
A Sunrise Easter service is scheduled for 5:15 a.m. on Red Oak Mountain near Woodville. This is a joint service of Woodville and Forest Grove Baptist churches and the Rev. A.C. Walker will be . the speaker. The public is invited to attend.
Following the service an Easter breakfast will be held at the old Forest Grove School building from 7 until 9 a.m. A good will offering will be taken. This is also open to the public.
Holy Week will be observed by the Amissville United Methodist Church beginning Palm Sunday, April 11 with a morning worship at 10 o’clock, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Charles Price.
