Team. The final score of that game was 4-0. in Rappahannock’s favor; which was a great beginning for the new season.

Mike Smoot did an outstanding job of pitching that day, striking out twenty-one batters, which is a new school record. Friday our Panthers played Elkton and won by an even more impressive score of 11-1. Student support at the game has been really good which is always an extra boost for any sports team. Keep up the fine work guys—you’re truly “Super Panthers!”

Our 1st Boy’s Track meet which was also last week was for most of the team, a first time in actual competition so Rappahannock did not place particularly high in any event. The team is young and new and has a long way to go but all things must begin somewhere and new beginnings can often be the start of something good. Keep your eyes on our new Track Panthers, I think they’ll be no exception.

Have a Happy Easter Vacation!
