Porter
Leroy Vennie Porter of Washington died Monday, April 5, 1976 at the age of 55, at his residence. He - was a native of Albemarle County, the son of the late Russell and Nellie Washington Clanagan and the foster soti of the late Lee and Sally Vennie Porter.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Beckwith Porter and three daughters, Miss Lucy M. Porter andMrs. Marylin A. Price of Washington, D.C. and Miss Jackie Porter of Washington, Va.; a step daughter Mrs. Bessie Grigsby of Sperryville; three sons Donald L. Porter, John O. Porter and Leroy V. Porter Jr., all of Falls Church, Va.; three step sons, Larwence 0. Freeman USAF, Okinawa, Dudley B. Freeman of Somerville, N. J. and Robert B. Freeman of Plainfield, N. J. a foster son, Robert L. Williams of Washington, Va.
Also surviving are two brothers, George L. Clanagan of Washington, D.C. and Freddie Clanagan of Philidelphia, Pa.; one sister, Mrs.
