Samuel North came home Friday after a nine-day stay in Warren Memorial Hospital. Sunday dinner guests of the Norths were Stewart North of Marshall, Jack North and daughter, Darlene, and Gerry Elliott, all of Front Royal. Tammie Harris of Manassas was a Saturday overnight guest.
Mrs. Edith Brooks and William Gorman of Baltimore were weekend guests of her daughter, Mrs. Carl Longmire, Sr., and Mr. Longmire.

Monday evening an encouraging report was received from Mrs. F.P. Rawlings, Jr. on her husband’s condition in the Leesburg Hospital following an auto accident October 30, Despite a broken right shoulder and 10 ribs, a compound fracture of the left arm, a collapsed lung, and a large gash on the head, Mr. Rawlings is reported improved.
