Shoot
Two Fairfax County youths were apprehended Tuesday after a shot was fired from a pellet gun into the front window of the Amissville Post Office building. Thomas Nolin of Fairfax and a juvenile driving the auto were stopped near New Baltimore after the incident was reported to police.
Postmaster David Yokum saw the youth shoot and pursued the vehicle. He identified the men who refused to stop for him. A report to the State Police resulted in their arrest by Trooper L.L. Lilly of Shenandoah County on routine business in that area and Trooper Roger Broadvent of Fauquier.
The young men were turned over to Trooper R. R. Montgomery who placed charges of shooting on a public highway and shooting into an occupied building. They have been released until a hearing set December 7.D
