THE HISTORY of the Amissville Ruritan Club has never registered the birth of a senator or ' president or noted dignitary, but it has produced men, men who have had a vital concern for their neighbors and community. The record of their contribution stands as a proud testimonial to their years of service.
The club is a member of the 1200 Unit Ruritan National, committed to the purpose of spreading good will and community assistance primarily in rural areas. While the Amissville Ruritans were organized in 1961 the activities of 1976 illustrate the type of contribution offered during this 15 year history.
In April an amateur talent show offered a real break through for the young folks of this area. Over
